Welcome!

Welcome to my amateur genealogy page, where I document the family histories of my children's ancestors. I have been compiling this information for many years, and am slowly entering it into the database that this website draws from.

I am always looking for additional information. If you have any info, photographs, documents, or letters about any of the people in this tree, please consider making a login and entering what you have. By recording the information that different branches of our extended family tree have, it can be preserved and shared.

Please note that I have not entered any information, except name, about people who are still living. If your ancestors are on this tree, and you'd like to supply some information about yourself, feel free to.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me at geneology@buhr.me.

Victor Buhr and Carolina Bottjer purchased 1029 Dean Avenue, in the Bronx, and raised their 9 children there. Carolina's brother lived in the basement apartment, and helped contribute to the household after Victor's death in 1925. My children and I drove by it in June, 2017, and took this photo.
